i don’t feel like i got drunk enough to deserve this hangover.
there was the cold walk home at five am. the streets eerie and emptied
of its thousand visitors. someone new walking with me. a voice i like to listen to.
do you sleep? are you exiled in these bottomless nights?
dancing as i should always dance. sitting here now,
keeping this to myself. toying with immediacy. a warm centered thing.
